Atheesan Mahendrarajah

M.A, Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying, Psychotherapy Intern (fluent in Tamil)

Hello, I’m Atheesan, and I’m a psychotherapist who’s here to support you through your personal struggles. Regardless of what you’re going through, know that you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to offer an empathetic, safe, and non-judgmental space to express yourself and process whatever you’re going through.
In our sessions, I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from various therapeutic principles and philosophies to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll explore coping tools and strategies that work for you, challenge your thinking, and help you better understand yourself and your cultural identity.

I’m also from a South Asian background, so I understand the unique challenges and cultural nuances that shape our worldviews. In addition, I’m aware of the additional cultural layer that makes seeking help difficult. That’s why I offer a non-judgmental, confidential and culturally sensitive approach to treatment.

Whether you’re struggling with past traumas or seeking to develop new coping skills, I’m here to help you move forward and achieve your goals. If you’re ready to start your journey toward healing and growth, I invite you to reach out for a free consultation today. Let’s work together to help you live a more fulfilling life.
