Supporting young minds with compassion and care
Pam is a dedicated children’s counsellor and Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate, who brings warmth, understanding, and a deep respect for every child’s unique journey. With a Master of Education in Counselling from Acadia University, along with degrees in Education and Child and Youth Studies from Mount Saint Vincent University, Pam has spent her career walking alongside children and adolescents as they navigate life’s challenges.
Pam works with young people aged 4 to 16, offering support for a wide range of emotional and developmental needs—including anxiety, neurodiversity (such as ADHD and autism), learning disabilities, social struggles, trauma, and family or life transitions.
Sessions are child-led and responsive, often incorporating play, creativity, and conversation to help children feel safe and empowered. Pam draws from trauma-informed, strength-based, and client-centered practices, using tools from CBT, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to help children understand their feelings, build self-confidence, and develop healthy coping skills.
Culturally sensitive and equity-focused, Pam is deeply aware of how identity, systems, and lived experience shape a child’s mental health. She is committed to creating a space of belonging—where every child feels safe, valued, and heard.
Whether your child is navigating everyday stress or more complex emotional concerns, Pam is here to support them with compassion, curiosity, and care.
