Psychiatric services are not open to the public. Services are available to Veterans and pre-approved specialty groups.
Dr. Mark Johnston is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in mental health care, research, and innovation. He has dedicated much of his career to serving military personnel, having been the base psychiatrist for 14 Wing Greenwood for 13 years and working with Armed Forces veterans for more than two decades.
In 2013, Dr. Johnston founded True North Psychological Services and NuVista Mental Health, now the largest private mental health care provider in Canada, with 250 clinicians across 22 clinics nationwide. These organizations offer psychotherapy, psychiatric care, neurofeedback, and ketamine treatments. His ongoing commitment to advancing mental health care continues to shape the field through research, treatment innovation, and patient-centered care.
