Cameron Smith MEd LCT-C C.C.C BCIA Pending received her Master’s of Education in Counselling from the University of New Brunswick. In her practice, she emphasizes a collaborative approach to therapy. Her theoretical background is eclectic, influenced by notions of attachment theory, and drawing from various modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems therapy, and Emotionally Focus therapy (EFT). Her goal is to best find practices that suit her client’s needs and to create a safe, warm, and trauma informed environment for people seeking support. 

Cameron’s current clinical interests include, but are not limited to, anxiety, grief, trauma/PTSD, interpersonal difficulties, and stress in young adults.  

Cameron is in the process of becoming certified with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance, meaning that she is a practicing Neurofeedback technician. She also conducts mini electroencephalogram (EEG) assessments using John Andersons NewQ technology as a way of viewing peoples brainwave activity and understanding their symptoms. 

She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate through the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB).
