Nilesh is a New Brunswick Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work from Brigham Young University-Hawaii, and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Victoria. He has over 15 years of experience working with people of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.
His current clinical interests include, but are not limited to, concerns regarding PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, childhood trauma, and interpersonal and relationship difficulties. Nilesh practices an integrative approach to therapy in working with clients and draws from various modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Talk Therapy, Grief Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. He believes his strengths as a therapist are his knowledge, strong commitment to helping others, hard work, and authenticity.
Originally from Fiji, Nilesh is fluent in English, Hindi, and Fijian. He is a husband and father who enjoys the outdoors, woodworking, spending time with his family and keeping up with the latest results on all things rugby and soccer in his free time.
