Zainub Beg (she/her) is a Social Work Candidate with a practice rooted in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive care. She has specialized experience working with survivors of gender-based violence, drawing on both front-line fieldwork and clinical practice to support individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Zainub integrates modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic approaches, including training in Complex Trauma (CCTP-II) and Somatic Experiencing, to help clients build self-awareness, reconnect with their inner strengths, and move toward healing in ways that feel safe and sustainable.
As a racialized practitioner, Zainub honours the importance of cultural identity in therapeutic work. She offers services in English, Urdu and Hindi and is passionate about making therapy accessible and relevant. Zainub also integrates creative expression into her therapeutic approach, exploring how art, storytelling, and cultural practices can support healing and self-discovery. She believes creativity can offer alternative ways to process trauma, especially when words are hard to find. She also brings a background in policy and systems advocacy, recognizing that personal healing and social change are deeply connected.
