With a Master’s of Social Work from Dalhousie University and twenty-five years experience supporting individuals, children and families, Nancy has developed a strong ability to help people attain physical, mental, and intrinsic wellbeing. Interpersonal skills are key in Nancy’s success in effecting positive change in the lives of those she serves.
Nancy brings a collaborative and non-judgemental approach to her work. Nancy has completed training with Dr. Leslie Sokol and possesses a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She embraces principles of empowerment and believes individuals are the experts in their own lives. Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic, mindful, and solution focused approaches, Nancy will support you to view yourself holistically, exploring your thoughts, feeling and concerns. Through this process you will find paths to solve problems and attain greater wellbeing in a safe and impartial space.
Through counselling and skill building, clients will receive support with challenges including adult and adolescent mental health, trauma, grief and loss, divorce, infidelity, family violence, illness, career challenges, job loss/retirement, school transition, ADHD support, relationship difficulties, parenting struggles, systems navigation, and conflict resolution.

Nancy’s preferred clientele are adults and teenagers 17+, and she is currently accepting new clients.
