Bernadette is a registered social worker with over 24 years of experience. She has a history of working with people with disabilities, families and women who have experienced intimate partner violence. Bernadette uses a collaborative approach which is strengths based, and applies a trauma informed lens to her social work practice.
As a clinical social worker, she has a background working with a variety of presenting concerns including; anxiety, depression, mood and emotion regulation, intimate partner violence, life transitions, stress, difficulties coping with emotions and relationships, and insomnia.
Bernadette utilizes evidence-based treatment modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Unified Protocol Transdiagnostic Approach to Emotional Disorders, Behavioral Activation (BA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Bernadette is currently accepting new clients and will be offering evening appointments beginning August 2025.
