Courtney Crewe

Clinical Social Worker (MSW, RSW)

Courtney has been working as a Registered Social Worker (RSW) for over 10 years. She offers individual therapy to adults. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, attachment-related issues, interpersonal or relationship challenges, life transition or adjustment related challenges, Courtney’s approach is holistic and tailored to your individual needs. She uses a blended treatment approach, drawing on various modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy.

Courtney is in the process of completing her 3-year Somatic Experiencing (SE) training to become a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). SE is a specialized body-centered approach to treating trauma, and this is the primary modality that she uses when working with trauma.

Courtney endeavours to support people in overcoming their challenges through creating a safe, compassionate, gentle and supportive space for people to show up exactly as they are. She believes we all have an innate capacity for healing, growth, and vitality, and that therapy can be a powerful tool for accessing this.
