Bianca has over 17 years’ experience in hospital and community health care as a clinical social worker. The bulk of experience is in acute care, with the past five years serving at Addictions and Mental Health Services. While living in Toronto, she provided counselling at the scene for Toronto Police Force, Victim Services Unit. Her cumulative experience provides a level of understanding and respect for first responders, including military and emergency personnel.
Bianca has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Thomas University in Fredericton, Bachelor of Social Work from York University in Toronto, and a Master ‘s degree in Social Work from St. Thomas University. She is a registered member of the New Brunswick Social Work Association.
Trained in Collaboration and Management of Sucidality (CAMS), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Trauma Informed Care (TIC), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Bianca uses a holistic approach to provide helpful coping skills and treatment for anxiety, depression, and trauma.
