It can often be challenging feeling as though you are alone in your thoughts, worrying about the future, feeling trapped in painful patterns or emotions or feeling stuck about which direction to take. Having the courage and hope to ask for help is the first step in creating change and growth in yourself.
My role as a therapist is to provide you with a safe outlet to express your vulnerabilities, to listen to you share your story with empathy and validation, to identify your strengths and empower you to build a quality of life that you desire. I utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches in order to get to the root cause of anxieties, traumas and interpersonal conflicts. I firmly believe in collaboration and teamwork. I am flexible and accommodating to my clients.
In addition, I strive to create a warm and compassionate environment, one that fosters strong therapeutic rapport and is non-judgemental. Trust, empathy and communication are essential ingredients to creating a safe place for change. Building on your strengths and resiliency is very important in fostering client strength and motivation.
