Experience

For the past 18 years, Melissa has been an RCMP spouse, a role that has deeply shaped her
understanding of service, sacrifice, and the invisible toll that high-stress positions can take on
individuals and families. Their postings took her family across the country, allowing her to
build resilience through constant change while gaining a deep appreciation for the diverse experiences, communities, and challenges people face. Melissa strives to offer a space that feels grounded, compassionate, and safe- where you don’t have to explain or justify the weight that you carry. Melissa believes that healing happens through connection, safety, and collaboration. Therapy with her is about understanding what has helped you survive, and gently creating space for relief, meaning and growth at your own pace. You don’t have to do this alone.
